Monocomponent Toner Delivery

Monocomponent Technology is used in most laser based printers. HP uses Canon's print engines and therefore uses Canon's Monocomponent print Technology. When thinking of digital it is more than just laser imaging to a drum for latent image delivery. Digital, encompasses CONSISTENT COPY/PRINT/FAX QUALITY FROM THE FIRST COPY/PRINT/FAX, RECEIVED to the last. Most other digital models still use developer delivery technology.

CCD

Why is it that some models read 400 x 400 copy quality while their print technology is up to 600 x 600 DPI? The answer is that Their CCD (Charged Coupled Device) or their laser or that combination of is not capable of delivering digital copy quality at up to 600 x 600 DPI. Which model are you going to Spend thousands on?

SCAN TO WHAT? AND AT WHAT SPEED?

Scan to copy, is different than scan to fax, is different than scan to E-MAIL, is different than scan to ARCHIVE.
Some digital copiers will not ever never be able to scan to e-mail. Some models at $8,000 more than the GP200 series start out at 40 page per minute copy, but only deliver 12 page per minute Scan-to-email. Who would buy that?
